Need To Know
Semester Reminders for Students
Finals will be here before we know it! If you plan to utilize your testing accommodations
through SDRC, please review the following reminders carefully.
- Final Exam Request Deadline: Friday, November 13th. All final exams MUST be requested through AIM by this date to ensure priority consideration for testing space and scheduling. Request submitted after this deadline will be reviewed on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, and accommodations will be dependent on available space and staffing.
- Don't wait to request your exams! If you already know your final exam schedule, submit your requests NOW. Testing space is limited and fills quickly during finals.
- Select the correct exam type in AIM. When submitting your request, make sure you select the appropriate exam type. For example, if you are taking an online exam in our testing suite, select Online Exam Proctoring Required (Testing in SDRC) and NOT "Paper Exam-Proctoring Required." Selecting the incorrect exam type can create scheduling issues.
- Don't see a final exam option? If "Final Exam" is not available under the request type section in AIM, your professor will need to update their Alternative Testing Agreement to include final exam information. Please contact your professor directly to request this update.
- Exam Date or Time Not Available? If the date or time of your final exam is not available in AIM or appears to be full, please email SDRCTEST@sc.edu with the correct date and time of your exam. Our testing team will work with you to assist with scheduling your request.
- Identification: A PHYSICAL FORM OF PHOTO IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED. You may bring a drivers license or you may contact the Carolina Card Office for a physical card. Identification on your cell phone will not be accepted.
- Questions or need assistance? Contact our team at SDRCTEST@sc.edu or SADRCGA@mailbox.sc.edu
